PREVIEW FOR MY NEW FANFICTIN "KINGDOM HEARTS: HEAVILY BROKEN"

"Do you trust me?" asked Sora, holding his hand out to her.

Kairi hesitated, then took his hand softly. She stepped onto the ralling next to him.
They then looked at each other, then glanced down. All they could see were flames engulfing the darkness. They held each other close and jumped. No one screamed, they just let the wind rush out of their lungs. Kairi hugged Sora, as they fell through the darkness. They could see the floor coming closer to them. Kairi held on to him, tears rolling down her cheeks. They knew that once they hit the bottom, there would be no waking up again. Along while passed then Kairi realized what had happened. The moment she opened her eyes, she knew that they weren't falling anymore. Her stomach was back in place, as her heart thudded in her chest.

She lifted her head to see Sora smiling softly, "I told you everything would be okay." He gently iped the tears off her face.

She was shaking and her ears were ringing, " You can fly..." she realized how dumb that must have sounded seconds after to let it pass her lips.

"No, you gave my heart wings." he said, pressing his lips to her forehead. That's when the scenery around them came back into place. They then began to run as fast as their legs would carry them. "There's the exit!" Sora yelled, pointing to the wodden threshold before them. Just then the support beams collapsed, "GO!" he puched her forward and throught the door.

Once she was out she could see clearly. Riku and the others came into view. "Guys!" she screamed, runnong to them.

"Where's Sora?" asked Yuffie.

What? He's right there..." said kairi, turning around to face the tower again. The whole castle was engulfed in flames. "Sora!" she yelped, lunging forward, but Riku and Yuffie held her back. Kairi felt her legs give way as she fell to the ground. "No..no.. SORA!" she gasped between sobs. She put her face in her hands. Riku bent next to her and held her steadily in his arms.

No one spoke, they jsut stood there in grief. "What did I do?" cried kairi, her face stained in tears.

"We have to get out of here. They might come back for us!" Leon yelled.

"No! I can't leave him!" she yelled, not willing to leave her spot on the round.

"You'll be killed if you stay here!" Leon retorted pulling her to her feet.

"I don't care if I die! I won't leave him!" she cried, as Leon forced her in his arms. He held her there tightly, not letting her move away. He carried her away as the others followed.

"Sora! Please! No!" she wimpered, hopelessly.

"Kairi..there's no point in screaming ...he's gone..." Leon cringed after he said that. His voice was more serious than Kairi's heart could handle. She could feel her mind slipping away along with her consciousness...
